Thriller

Wednesday 21st January 2009 saw the opening of Thriller- Live at the Lyric Theatre on London’s West End. The musical has been performed previously in the UK at the Dominion Theatre in London’s West End during August 2006 and has also conducted two UK tours, both of which were hugely popular. Thriller- Live has also been performed in Germany, Holland and Scandinavia where the musical has enjoyed the same success as it has in the UK performances.

The musical was the brain child of Adrian Grant who is well known for being a mega Jackson 5 fan and a fan of the family in general. Grant started a fan club in 1988 which grew to over 25,000 subscribers within a few years. Grant was subsequently invited by Michael Jackson to LA during his recording of Dangerous. Following this Adrian Grant developed an annual tribute show and wrote three books on the subject alongside the hit musical Thriller- Live.

The musical includes 28 songs from the Jackson 5 and Michael Jackson including “Billie Jean”, “I Want You Back”, “I'll Be There”, “Rock With You”, “Show You The Way To Go”, “Can You Feel It”, “She's Out Of My Life”, “Thriller”, “Ben”, “Beat It”, “ABC”, “Man in the Mirror” and “Dirty Diana”.
